"MOZART & CO" The Cine-Recital
Synopsis : With this multimedia live show, what we want is to tell the story of a musical instrument, the horn, from its origins until today. Throughout the scenario, which will lead us from the beginning of time with the animal horn to the modern horn, a horn player on stage will appear to perform masterpieces excerpts on various instruments related to the family of the horn. All along the performance, the movie will be shown on a big screen and will illustrate various extracts. It starts with two children playing in an old library, inviting the public, through their discoveries and tricks, to cross the ages and to live situations that help them to learn about the instrument evolution, discovering performers and composers who contributed to build and enrich the heritage of that instrument. It will be a road show adapted in several languages, ready to be presented all around the world that can be integrated in all kinds of performance facilities, universities, music academy, and various types of festivals. Author's purpose: “My deep desire to tell the history of the horn is at the origin of this show. I want to offer to a large audience, a travel through time and make them discover the plurality of this musical instrument. As a long-time experienced and passionate lover of the horn world, convinced of the lack of knowledge about this subject by the general public, the writing of a multimedia show, both didactic and attractive, appears obvious to me, facing the inexistence of such an offer in the living show market”.
