Owem_g is a Spanish producer, dj and musician based in Lisbon. His first steps in the music scene were in 1998 with a rock and grunge band named "Werther" in his home town Valladolid. They gain some reputation in the city and played in some festivals sharing stage with some big Spanish rock bands. In 2003 he moved to Holland where he started djing in clubs and began to be interested in new beats like reggae, triphop, funk.... Back to Spain in 2005 he moved to Barcelona where he continue working as resident dj in many clubs of the city. In 2007 he bought his first studio equipment and began producing music. His first demo "Overture" was clearly influenced by triphop and electronic dub. In 2009 he started a new project called "Dual Collective Soul" a big band of 9 musicians. The band was conceived as a mix of street and stage band so he could now dedicate 100% of his time to make music. After his second demo “Music from the Soul” (Barcelona 2012- Reggae, Fusion, Acoustic), he became interested in the sounds and cultures of Latin America. Time to say goodbye to Barcelona he established himself in Lisbon where a new project came to life. "Lisbon Soul Buskers" is a duo of guitar and sax again dividing their time between street and stages. His first album “Colors” (Lisbon 2015) is a fusion of different Latin styles mixed with Rumba, Dub, Bossa… Each song was treated as an individual project therefore breaking away from a general style.The result is an album full of different colors where everybody can find their own.
