Bio

CLAUDIA PAULETA DE FARIA was born in Lisbon in 1973. Since she was a child she revealed her talent for music when she entertained the whole family to imitate the successful artists of the 70s. In 1980 she received a spanish nylon string guitar from her grandfather and immediately was taking music lessons. Every Sunday she was part of the youth musical group of the Parish Church of “Santos Reis Magos” of Campo Grande. Claudia’s parents were connected to the organization of events, so it was natural for her to be "hired" to animate them, and she did it in a duet with her sister, who also played and sang. She integrated several musical projects of the various student associations she passed through until she finished her university degree in International Relations in 1998. This year she was invited to lead the back-vocals of the LUCKY DUCKIES concerts at EXPO'98. Between 2000 and 2004 she joined a project produced by Marco António from the LUCKY DUCKIES called “The LUCKY GIRLS” in which her sister and another girl accompanied her in harmony vocals. After this project, due to the lack of time of the other two members, her collaboration in The LUCKY DUCKIES became more intense, and turned her in the main female voice of the band. In 2019 she began to focus on song writing as melodies entry in her imagination or inspiration. It’s natural because she already had some experience, as an interpreter, creative musical ideas flowed better and showed the strong influence that the 50s and 60s songs had on her. This were the songs she used to hear at her parents’ home.
